1. Bleeding during bowel movements, hemorrhoids are characterized by the weakening of blood vessels in the anal and rectal regions of the body. 4. Itching- this is due to the substance that internal hemorrhoids may secrete. This mucus irritates the anal opening causing itching and irritation.
